Questions
How do I play with a friend in iMessage?
- Open a conversation with your friend in Messages.
- Tap the + next to the text field, then tap More and choose Thumb Wars.
- Pick a game, make your move, and send it.
- Your friend taps the bubble to play their turn and sends it back. Some games, like Air Hockey, are played live when you both open them.
Thumb Wars isn't in my Messages apps
In Messages, tap +, then More, then Edit and make sure Thumb Wars is turned on. If it still isn't there, delete and reinstall the app from the App Store.
Can I play in a group chat?
Yes. In a group, the first person to answer a two-player game takes the open seat and everyone else can watch. Party games like Imposter and the group versions of Golf and 3-Point let more people play at once.
How do I get Premium back on a new phone?
Sign in with the same Apple Account you bought it with, open Thumb Wars, go to Settings and tap Restore purchases.
How do I cancel Premium?
Open the iPhone's Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Thumb Wars Premium. Premium stays on until the end of the month you paid for. Apple handles billing and refunds; you can ask Apple for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Will I lose my level if I get a new phone?
No, as long as you are signed in to iCloud. Your level, prizes, avatar and records are backed up to your own iCloud and come back when you install Thumb Wars on a phone signed in to the same account. It can take a minute to arrive.
How do I delete my data?
- Delete the Thumb Wars app to remove everything from your phone.
- To remove the iCloud backup, turn off iCloud for Thumb Wars in the Settings app (tap your name, then iCloud) and delete its data under Manage Storage where iOS lists it.
- Games and chat on our servers delete themselves within about 24 hours.

How do I report someone?
Email support@thumbwarsgames.com with what happened and when. You can also block the person in Messages, which stops their games and messages reaching you.
